Under the leadership of Chef Sebastian Baquero Garces, the restaurant has undergone a subtle ‘lipstick renovation’ — refreshing its look while preserving its trusted character. With a warmer, more accessible hospitality approach and the introduction of the new Vermeers Wijnkamer, Vermeer continues to move with the times while staying true to its roots.

What are you going to do?
As Chef de Rang at Restaurant Vermeer, you have a passion for fine-dining and restaurants recognized by Michelin. You entertain the guests with your impeccable but subtle service. You are motivated, proactive, and you know how to offer guests a unique experience with your guest-centric approach. In this position you will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through your extensive knowledge of food and wines and your exceptional eye for detail.
What are we looking for?
Delivering service at a high level;
Transferring your passion for fine dining to guests by conveying your product knowledge;
Active input and implementation of new ideas;
You see upselling and cross-selling as a challenge and do so in a natural way;
You are in possession of a recognized service-oriented diploma (MBO 3);
You have at least 1 year of experience as Chef de Rang in a comparable restaurant;
You speak Dutch and English fluently, both verbally and in writing;
You have a positive attitude, and you are eager to learn.
